Tony Hunt has worked previously as a financial adviser, a high school teacher and a taxi driver. Tony lives on the NSW South Coast near Bermagui. Tony has also hosted various weekly radio shows including "Talking Money" on Bega's EdgeFM 93.7 and Sydney's SWRFM99.9 and has also been a breakfast show host.
Tony is also a keen Scrabble player having played at a national level since 2003 and is the coordinator of the Western Scrabble Network. His adventures in “extreme Scrabble” have earned him an appearance on Andrew Denton’s “Enough Rope”. Tony was inspired to create Audio Life Portraits by observing interviews such as Andrew Denton’s as well as by the incredible diversity and passion of the people he has met through business, radio, the Scrabble community, and life in general.
Tony wants to make the “life story” concept interview available to all people, irrespective of level of public profile. Tony says: “Everybody has a great story to tell. What’s needed is someone to ask the right questions and someone who is prepared to listen.”
