When people listen to an Audio Life Portrait on a quality player they often comment that it is as if the person is in the room with them! John Taylor recounts how his early childhood was spent on the “wrong side of the tracks” in a country town, to how he was able to develop a successful retail business. John discussed the various challenges that were overcome, including the role which his wife played in the success. John expresses how important he believes it is for us to record our life stories – especially our significant moments in life – so that memories are not lost and future generations can gain an understanding of where they have come from.
