Free Farmstay Holidays!

"Calboonya" is a 40 hectare property on the NSW South Coast located between the historic village of Cobargo and the coastal town of Bermagui. "Calboonya" is the Yuin word for lyrebird. There are many lyrebirds around Calboonya. There is also plenty of other native wildlife. The property owners, Tony and Melinda Hunt, are working to develop Calboonya along the principles of sustainability and low environmental impact. Organic farming principles are adopted. Diversity is valued. Animals on the property include alpacas, damara sheep, chickens, ducks and a guinea pig called Widget.

Tony and Melinda would like to offer willing people the opportunity for people to stay at Calboonya - for free! The offer is this: stay at Calboonya (minimum 2 nights), be provided with food and lodgings. Be willing to provide a few hours per day to contribute to the vision of Calboonya. We are not into "clock-watching". We simply ask that people be mindful of the principle of a fair exchange. Money is not to change hands.
